Tachi is a chair with an expressive shape and a strong graphic sign.
The profile seems to be generated by the cut of a blade, hence “Tachi”, the name of a Japanese sword.
The characteristic cuts of each element that compose it and the curves that brush against each other without ever touching, lighten its sculptural presence.
All its component parts are held together by a play of balances. CNC-milled in solid ash wood, the legs and backrest are set in a solid seat that is lightened at the bottom.
The table completes the Tachi collection. The characteristic cuts define the profiles and add a strong graphic sign to the design. CNC milled from solid ash wood. – Mario Scairato
